On Tribeworthy’s news feed you can see at a glance whether or not other news consumers trust an article you’re interested in. You can filter articles in the feed by Trust Rating and by Topic such as International, Business, Technology, Science, Culture, and Politics.

Click on any article to visit the article’s rating page which gives a breakdown of the reasons why other users trust or contest that article.

An article’s rating page warns you of problems in the article such as Opinion Piece, Speculation, Religious Bias, Financial Incentive, etc. This way you can know what to be on the lookout for before reading.

On the rating page, users can review any article which helps generate the article’s Trust Rating. Reviews also help generate the author and news outlet’s overall Trust Rating. Anyone online will be able to reference the rating pages- similar to checking Rotten Tomatoes before starting a movie.

Grow your user stats by leaving thoughtful reviews on articles and by doing it often! Every user has their own rating which is determined by how many up or down votes your reviews receive, so make sure your reviews are helpful to the next reader.
